Psychologist Atlanta! Again, for I know. Ready to share new things that are useful. You and your friends.Over 35 years ago my Father made a mistake in his parenting of me. From the age of 12
To 28 I spent every waking occasion living out the follow of that mistake, in trying to prove I was
in fact unworthy of protection. By the time I was 28 I had created a requisite estimate of self-loathing and was exhausted from the journey of self-destruction. While my Father was not responsible for the act against me as an innocent child, he did nothing to actively protest the violator. For many years when I would visit home, the man who violated my innocence was still singing in the choir of my fathers church.

For 16 years I was unable to function commonly in most relationships requiring following another, due to a lack of trust in authority figures. Any good leader knows in order to lead you must also know how to follow, so when I became a parent myself I invested a major effort in my quest to turn my life's path.
Fortunately because God and the universe heard my request, I was introduced to a spiritual healer in Atlanta by the name of Jewel McClure. Her name suits her perfectly as she has been a true Jewell in my life. At the time I did not have a name for the techniques she taught me, but I now understand that they were all teachings from God and the universe brought straight through her to me in divine order. I am fortunate adequate now to call her my partner in the cure for greed project. One of the best lessons I have gotten from her over the years is the power of unconditional love and forgiveness. She walks the walk like no one I have ever seen.
These teachings are genuinely not new; they have been around and used for centuries by some of our many leaders. However this description is not intended to persuade anything to believe in the teachings of any one school of thought. I am just giving credit where credit is due. These universal laws are at work at all times whether one believes in them or not, so as I reflect on my current connection with my father, I find myself filled with gratitude for the law I was taught 20 years ago.
Learning to accept my father's faults and humanity were the first steps in forgiving him, I practiced forgiving him until I totally integrated my forgiveness of him into the total fabric of my own heart and mind. It did take time because some things he would say at times would trigger the old unforgiving thought, but I have learned to quickly replace the negative belief patterns with ones of love and grace. I've spent the last 20 years falling in love with my father all over again, and am so thankful that the anger I once felt for him has thoroughly melted from my heart. I achieved this by following the principle that "as a man thinketh so is he". I also used some books that teach you how to think straight through an event, and visualize the follow you want, before curious in it. Essentially you see the broken connection as already healed and you keep your mind focused on the desired intention, those things you want, while giving no concentration or belief to the things you do not want.
But the truth remains that if I had not had this human love and advice of my mentor, I genuinely think I would have strayed and failed. She never took one red cent from me as my mentor and is the one man who has loved me since that day without condition. Her gift of aid to me was priceless for which I owe my life, which I am convinced was the fancy it worked, I knew her motives were always pure and were not muddled by me paying her for her guidance. That is the essence of true mentoring, which you will never receive from a psychologist, or self proclaimed guru.
The beauty of forgiveness is that it comes from within oneself, and has wee if anything to do with the other person. So whoever is at the other end of your anger, or disappointment, dead or alive, the custom of forgiveness can and will help you reach an improved relationship. Obviously alive is better, and sooner is great than later. Have you ever encountered man stuck in unforgiving thought, they are ordinarily sick, angry, and bitter. The practical application of forgiveness can truly benefit anything seeking leisure from these symptoms. And if approached properly can truly heal the brokenness of any hurt. With each step in applying forgiveness you get closer to avoiding the hurts in the first place but it does take some doing.
So if you find yourself plagued with the effects of unforgiving thought, or persistent anger toward another, give these law a try. I am not suggesting that there are not toxic population who do not belong in your life, and that some relationships must be amputated, but even those population deserve our forgiveness. It naturally is the best gift you can give yourself to be free of any that have trespassed against us.
